DEDICATED TO EVERY CHILD’S NEED

Why Choose Us for ABA Therapy

Our compassionate team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavioral Therapists work along side families to develop meaningful plans to support positive outcomes. All members of our team bring their own unique background and experiences working with children and adolescents with autism. Sessions are built around the child’s interest in the form of positive reinforcement. Through ABA autism therapy, we address the respective needs of every child we work with, practicing our commitment through both in-home ABA therapy and group therapy.  We recognize that every child and every family has a unique situation and set of challenges. Our team works diligently with families to create meaningful change.

Uplifting Lives with In-Home ABA Therapy

At the heart of our treatment modality is Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). ABA is a scientifically validated method that we adapt for each child. This method is about understanding behavior, creating positive change, and unlocking each child’s potential in an effective and encouraging way. ABA autism therapy allows us to uplift and revitalize lives, one child at a time.

Your child deserves individualized care. We carefully develop therapy plans for the specific needs of each child.

Autism Spectrum Disorder affects every child differently. The personalized techniques we use in ABA autism therapy will depend on each child’s needs and development. This individualized treatment procedure is essential. Autism can present very differently from child to child. We also often work with children who have other developmental challenges in addition to ASD. Along with an autism diagnosis, the child may also have ADHD, social-emotional difficulties, and/or Oppositional Defiant Disorder. No matter the circumstances, our therapists demonstrate compassion and understanding in every situation.

Don’t Just Take Our Word For It

We are thankful for the remarkable families that we work with. Below are what these families have to say about our team at Excel Together.

Thank you to Jessica and her team for the commitment to my son. They are truly dedicated clinicians who continue to support my child and work through his behaviors, daily skills, and communication. I cannot thank them enough.

Jessica was our first BCBA and she was fantastic for our family. Always prompt, friendly, and incredibly responsive, she taught us all ways to interact better through weekly sessions and parent meetings. We especially appreciated how Jessica was available for concerns and questions no matter how small the issue. Most of all, she cared for my son and he improved in many ways under her supervision.
JosephineParent of an 11-year old
My son had many behavioral issues to work on, and as he grew, new ones emerged. She was great with observing my child, taking notes, and listening to all the issues we had to address patiently and professionally. She was very experienced and skillful in coming up with solutions and applications that helped those behaviors fade. I had terrific results with Jessica and recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated, understanding, and advanced BCBA.
SarahParent of a 7-year-old
Jessica is an effective and empathetic BCBA who’s worked with my son for over two years. Her dedication to our family has been unwavering. When my son was diagnosed with Autism two years ago, we were in a confused and frankly, hopeless state. When we met Jessica, she gave our family hope and helped pave the way for my son’s success. Over time, we could see the strides being made in his day-to-day life. I recommend Jessica and her team to any parent who is looking for a nurturing and efficient team of professionals.

FAQ

The goal of ABA therapy may be a little different for every family. This will depend widely on your child’s unique challenges and the goals you’d like your child to achieve. Some potential areas ABA therapy can help with include:

There is no “cure” for autism, and that isn’t the goal of ABA therapy. The goal of ABA therapy is to help your child reach his full potential by encouraging positive behavior and teaching new coping methods for handling stressful situations. This will help your child become more independent and able to handle a variety of settings, but your child will always be their wonderful, unique self!

ABA may help these therapies work more effectively, but it is not a replacement for speech and occupational therapies. You, your child’s therapist, and your child’s healthcare provider can help determine which therapies are right for your child.

ABA therapy is most effective when performed under the guidance of an experienced therapist. That said, we offer parent training to help you work with your child in between formal sessions. Parental involvement is integral to your child’s success in the program, and your willingness to work with your child on your own time is highly encouraged!

Most insurances will cover part of, if not most of, the cost of ABA therapy. Talk to your insurance company for more information. We are currently expanding the number of insurance providers that we work with, so your insurance may cover our services.
